National Library of Poetry

You might have seen their ads for their contest in magazines and on their webpage. If you send in a poem they will tell you after about 7 weeks they liked your poem so much that they offer to "publish" it. Don`t do business with them. The NLP are no real publishers. Real publishers give you some kind of payment (either money or copies)- if you want to see your poem in one of the NLP`s anthologies you have to buy it for a lot of money. Also, they claim to distribute the anthologies to bookstores, libraries, and other different places- that is not true. They distribute the books only to the authors. Also beware of their "sister companies" The Int`l Library of Poetry, The Int`l Society of Poets and the Int`l Poetry Hall of Fame. All they want is your money!
