Creative Arts

In Creative Arts, there are 10 courses that explore creativity through a variety of mediums. Some courses focus on art and the making of Pagan crafts.

Counseling and Guidance

This series of courses focuses on counseling, advising, dealing with anger or death, channeling, leadership and teaching. All of them are practical and useful everyday skills.

Dance and Drama

Learn how to dance and perform before a crowd. Learn all that goes into a drama performance.

Health and Healing

Courses in this field span from CPR to therapy to alternative healing methods. Also included are Midwifery and herbalism.

Magic

The field of Magic is one of the most extensive fields in CMS. Courses cover the basic skills needed to do magic, the ethics involved, the lore behind types of magic, the many methods of magic, divination, spellcraft, psionics and spirits.

Musical Arts

In Musical Arts, experience music through playing instruments, singing and chanting.

Meditation

Learn techniques of meditation and martial arts. Master focusing and self-discipline.

Nature Sciences

Nature Science is a series of perhaps mundane courses. They do, however, provide useful information for gardening, anatomy, astronomy, geology and about the environment.

Pagan History

This is the next largest field of study exploring deities of the world, the history of Sabbats, religions of the world, the evolution of Paganism, covens and the history of priests and priestesses.

Path Study

This path includes one's career path, spiritual path, etc. It works on an apprenticeship program. Students are also expected to take external education (CEGEP, University, Certification Institutes).

Priest/ess Training

This is an immersion into one's chosen spiritual path. The training is specific for those wanting to become a priest or priestess. It is not for the casual learner. Being a priest or priestess means serious responsibilities.

Rituals

Various rituals from various cultures and religions, especially Paganism, will be explored here. There will also be training on how to design a ritual and lead or perform it.

Societal Sciences

We live in the real world, in a society of home and family and work relationships. It is important to know how to successful survive in this world.

Writing & Research

Writing is important for self-expression. In today's world, using a computer is a must for writing, as well as researching. Researching gives the knowledge needed for holding our own in a conversation or in any documentation we write. This world seems to also require that we know at least two languages.

Learn the history of and how to make crafts associated with the eight Sabbats.

Learn to make crafts associated with the five elements.

Learn the meanings, uses, and how to make tools of the Craft.

CA 401 Creativity I
Learn in depth techniques for multimedia (three-dimensional) art. Express yourself through this media.

CA 501 Creativity II
Learn in-depth techniques for drawing, coloring, and painting. Express yourself through this media.

CA 601 Pagan Arts & Crafts
Learn Pagan related arts and crafts. Learn the history behind them, as well as how to make them (including cloaks and robes).

CA 701 Religious Art I
This is a general study of religious art across the world.

CG 504 Arguments & Arguing
Learn to spot the signs of an argument developing. Learn techniques of arguing successfully and bringing it to a resolve.

CG 505 Negotiation & Mediation
Learn to negotiate and mediate... especially when you're caught in the middle (as friend, parent, or family member).

CG 601 Intimate Counseling (prerequisite CG 502)
Learn techniques of counseling on an intimate level.

CG 602 Channeling I
Learn about channeling and the techniques (theory & practice) of channeling.

CG 701 Channeling II (prerequisite CG 602)
Learn how to channel deities (ex. Drawing Down the Moon).

CG 702 Leadership
Develop the necessary skills of leadership needed for leading rituals and covens.

DD 101 Circle Steps
Learn some of the simple circle dances and participate in a spiral dance.

DD 201 Dance I
Begin learning a specific style of dancing (Irish, Scottish, Hungarian, Medieval, ect.).

DD 301 Drama & Expression
Learn about drama and do some exercises in expression, gestures, pronunciation and projection, improvisation, etc.

DD 401 Dance II (prerequisite DD 201)
Continue learning the specific style of dance and participate in small performances.

DD 501 Set & Costume Design
Learn about sets and costumes. Create sets and backdrops. Make your own costumes.

DD 502 Drama I
Begin learning to act and read screen plays. Also learn backstage management.

DD 601 Dance Performance (prerequisite DD 401)
Perform in a grand show or participate in competitions for the specific dance style.

DD 602 Drama II
Prepare to perform a play, do rehearsals.

DD 603 Drama Performance (prerequisite DD 602)
Present the play for the public.

DD 701 Clerical Drama (for clergy students only)
Learn the dramatic motions of the clergy. Learn to dramatize in a ritual.

HH 402 Men's Bodies & Mysteries
Study male human anatomy. Learn about the growth processes and cycles of men. Also, discover the myths, mysteries, and beliefs through history about men and their bodies.

HH 403 Sex & Sexuality
Discover the historical, biological, medical, and artistic views about sex, sex organs, and sexuality. Discuss modern views about sex and sexuality (topics include homo- and bi-sexuality).

HH 501 Herbalism I
Learn about herbalism and the basics behind making herbal remedies. Also learn some simple and safe herbal remedies.

HH 502 Birthing & Midwifery
Learn about the development of a child in the womb and the changes a woman goes through while she is pregnant. Learn about giving birth and assisting with a birthing. Learn about midwives and midwifery.

HH 503 Growth & Development
Learn about the physical, psychological, and emotional development of a child from birth to adulthood.

HH 504 Aging & Old Age
Discover how and why we age. Discuss the physical, psychological, and emotional state of the Elderly. Discuss the care and treatment of  today's Elderly.

HH 505 On Death & Dying
This course teaches about the terminal illnesses, the process and functions of death, and how to support those who are dying and those around them. (Book: On Death and Dying by Dr. E. Kubler-Ross)

HH 601 Trance & Hypnosis
This workshop explores the methods and uses of hypnosis and trance.

HH 602 Aromatherapy
This course will teach you the different meanings and uses of different scents and how to uses them as a means of therapy.

HH 603 Music Therapy
Explore music as a tool for therapy.

HH 604 Art Therapy
Discover the history and uses of art as a therapeutic tool.

HH 605 Movement Therapy
This course teaches you to read and use non-verbal communication. Also discover how movement can be used as a therapeutic tool.

HH 606 Massage Therapy
This course will teach you the basic techniques of massage as you learn to use it as a therapeutic tool.

HH 607 Physiotherapy
Learn about physiotherapy and how it is applied to help others.

HH 608 Psychotherapy
Learn about what goes on during Psychotherapy and how therapist diagnose and treat patients.

NS 101 General Nature Sciences
Touch aspects of nature through creativity, exploration, and art. Learn how nature, people, and magic are interconnected. You will also learn the four R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse).

NS 102 Gardening
Start your own garden and harvest it.

NS 201 General Geography
This is equivalent to High School General Geography. (you must have obtained a minimum of 75%)

NS 202 Ecology
This is equivalent to High School Ecology. (you must have obtained a minimum of 75%)

NS 203 Exploring Nature's Environments
This is an exploration walk through several natural environments around Montreal and your local.

NS 301 Biology
This course is equivalent to Advanced High School Biology or CEGEP Biology. (you must have obtained a minimum of 75%)

NS 401 Anatomy
This is a basic human anatomy course. Those who have passed a CEGEP anatomy course will be exempt from this course.

NS 402 Sexology
Learn about sex and fertilization, sexually transmitted diseases, and sex gene disorders.

NS 403 Astronomy
This course is equivalent to CEGEP Astronomy. (you must have passed it to be exempt)

NS 404 Geology
This course is equivalent to CEGEP Geology. (you must have passed it to be exempt)

NS 501 Botany
This is a general botany course. Those who have passed a botany course are exempt.

NS 502 Environmental Sciences
This is a study of the state of the environment and a discussion of current issues regarding the environment.

This is a basic and general overview designed for those who know little or nothing of magic and Paganism. Misconceptions about these two subjects will be discussed and clarified.

This course explores the many Gods and Goddesses of the world. Discover who you wish to worship.

PH 103 Sabbats & Esbats
Learn all about esbats and other moon rituals, as well as the eight sacred Sabbats in a Pagan year.

PH 104 Altars & Shrines
Discover a variety of altars and shrines, learn the difference between them, and design your own.

PH 201 Evolution of Paganism I
Explore the evolution of religions and Paganism, as well as how they relate and influence each other, from prehistory to the present day.

This is a more detailed study of religions and cultures that follow animism and totemism.

These are the theoretical courses for your chosen path.

PS 502 Technique
Learn the techniques necessary for following and practicing in your path of choice.

PS 601 Practical (prerequisites PS 501 & 502)
This is a series of sessions where you will observe and assist a professional in your path, putting the theories and techniques to practical use and test.

PS 701 Internship (prerequisites PS 601)
You will spend a period of time practicing your path under supervision and evaluation. This will give you experience and practice in your path and prepare you to "go it alone".

PS 702 Clerical (for clergy students only)
Tie your path into you clerical studies and practices.

PS 801 Field Work (prerequisites PS 701)
Practice on your own or in an organization what you have prepared for in the Path Study courses.

This is a study of family structures and relationships. (Concordia University in Montreal offers an excellent version of this course and is recommended)

SS 304 Introduction to Anthropology
This course corresponds to the average university course. (75% in two CEGEP anthropologies or pass in university anthropology)

SS 401 Discrimination
This is a series of discussions revolving around discrimination of all forms.

SS 501 Introduction to Philosophy
This course corresponds to the average university course. (75% in university philosophy)

This is a specific study of a philosopher of your choice.
