Moses Wheelock Westborough Company of Militia
From: Vincent Borkowski, Lt Col. Daytime Ph: 508-870-6970
Event: Memorial Day Parade
Date: May 31, 1999
Time: 8 a.m.
Place: Rt 135 (South Street) & Baxter, Westborough

Please be advised that we will have a drummer this year. Her name is Natasha. She's my daughter. We will be meeting in front of the Pine Grove Cemetery. We'll have a little time to a short practice march with Natasha. We have to break her in. I will also do a safety inspection of muskets prior to the parade. The parade will finish in front of Town Hall. We will Fire. After the parade everyone is invited back to my house. I will have my grill ready. I only ask that you bring your own grill food. I can't put a spread out this year like Christmas or last July 4th. However, I will cook it for you.

Bunker Hill: I have had conversations with the park ranger. He is reviewing his calendar and will get back to me with a date. I did inform him that Westborough was represented at the battle.

July 4th: I talked with the 5th foot and they know we want them. More to follow.

THERE IS A NEW MAILING LIST FOR THE GROUP!
I have sent out invitations to all members to join our new mailing list hosted by OneList. I went over to this system because maintaining a large cc mail list is a pain and some folks have problems with relpies getting to everyone. This new list will be much easier to maintain and also will allow us to share files (if you want to post something on the web site, this would be a good way to send me the file). If you have not yet subscribed, please do so as soon as possible. Thanks.
