The Logo of this site contains two symbols from my American Indian Heritage. The Dream Catcher promotes good dreams and thus positive perspectives on life. The feather was used as a token of honor, and unlike what Hollywood would have you believe, was given more often for a kind deed and good works then it was as a token of war. This is why I chose them as the base for the logo and for the awards I give to sites that promote positive things in life.

A site awarded a "Feather on the Web Award" must be a site that works. All links must work ,Background does not interfere with text and/or graphics. Must have some original content, not just a collection of links. No porno or hate messages allowed. For "Two Feathers" it must have something to offer. Not just bios and pictures of the family. It must be site that holds enough interest to warrant return visits and recommendations. For "Three Feathers" it must be a site that fills a need and/or be a site I will return to often because it really impressed me. I am jealous of these sites, because I would only give my own web page "Two Trees Place" Two Feathers.

If you get a notice of receiving 1 feather, don't be disappointed. Only about 1/3 of the sites nominated get an award, ( I'm picky) and there have been 1 Feather sites upgraded to 2 Feathers. Primarily Commercial sites are permitted, but will not receive more than 1 Feather

A "Poets Quill"" must be a "Two Feathers" quality site dealing with original poetry.
