The pipe organ in the Old Peace Chapel was originally built in the 1860's. It has been lovingly brought to modern standards by the Wicks Pipe Organ Company of Highland, Illinois.

The vintage pipe organ has been perfectly balanced to fill the chapel with sound without being overpowering.

A small video screen (visible in the upper right of the keyboard closeup above) allows the organist to watch the ceremony from several different angles, as well as any action taking place outdoors.

A computer has been built in the pipe organ to allow it to play automatically several works put on the computer drives by noted St. Louis organist, John P. Walsh.
