ISBE Recertification News

The IEA has received information from ISBE regarding the recertification process for those teachers whose certificates expire on June 30, 2005. The first document details the process for teachers moving from an initial to a standard/master certificate and the second document explains the process of renewal and registration of a standard/master certificate.

The documents above reference using the CeRTS (Certificate Renewal Tracking System) or ISBE Form 73-97 (Initial to Standard/Master Teaching Certificates) or ISBE Form 73-98 (Renewal of Standard/Master Certificates).
Upon completion, you must submit ISBE Form 73-10 (Certificate Registration Form) and make payment of $25 for the Standard Certificate or $50 for the Master Certificate.

REMINDER: ROE will be conducting a workshop on CeRTS in Cairo (at the CEC) on April 26th from 4-6 p.m.
