CAT Tracks for September 12, 2004 TEACHER CERTIFICATION - CORRECTION!

Attended an IEA Board Meeting in Springfield this weekend...fortunately!

One of the speakers announced that some "misinformation" had been disseminated throughout the State of Illinois concerning teacher recertification. Unfortunately, that "misinformation" made it to Cairo and was included in the August 30th edition of CAT Tracks!

CORRECTION: ALL certified employees MUST complete the equivalent of 120 CPDUs in order to have their certificates renewed! THERE ARE NO "DISCOUNTS" for having a master's degree and/or specialist degree!
