Well...almost...maybe!!! CAT dues...although shown on the right of the check stub...were NOT deducted from your Gross Earnings...which they should have been. So...subtract off another $30.94 or $31.50, whichever is the case.

Also...IF you checked your "deducts" and found something wrong...AND...notified the business office, that should be rectified by Thursday.

Many of you were taken off guard...did not have your old check stubs handy so that you could do comparisons. However, by now, you should have had the opportunity to double check the "dummy paychecks" distributed today. IF you have found an error...or if you have a question about what was distributed today, NOTIFIY THE BUSINESS OFFICE...ASAP! They open for business at 8 a.m. and will be running the REAL paychecks tomorrow! Time is of the essence.

There was an initial flurry of concern with some of the information printed on the check stubs, e.g. listings of PRIN LIFE HEALTH SG EMPR SHARE, TRS, THIS 12 MONTHS, PRUDENTIAL TERM, 10.5 FED 12 MOS, ETC. However, if you "do the math", you SHOULD find that these amounts were NOT deducted from your Gross Earnings to arrive at your Net Pay. IF you find that they WERE deducted, NOTIFY THE BUSINESS OFFICE...ASAP!

Things that SHOULD have been deducted...and when subtracted from Gross Earnings should produce Net Pay...are Federal & State Tax, Credit Union (if a member), 2.2 Upgrade, and various optional programs...such as Colonial, AFLAC, NEA Value Builder, Woodman, etc. Only YOU can verify those deductions.

Hopefully, today's "exercise" - although stressful - will produce the desired result...an accurate REAL paycheck on Thursday, September 15th!
