Okay, the "drive-by" liberal lap-dog media has gone too far this time...
It was one thing to stand up for the terrorist ticket of Obama-Biden and to lampoon the defenders of our true American core values, McCain-Palin. BUT, to have the audacity to criticize our Sarah for buying a couple of little outfits when she is now required to mingle with "Great Americans" like Joe the Plumber, Tito the Builder, Phil the Bricklayer, Rose the Teacher, and Mickey the Mouse! (Oops...strike the mouse, at least until after November 4th when it's off to Disneyland!)
I mean, if you are going to make appearances on Saturday Night Live...
Sarah (who is obviously waaaay too young to have seen the originals) probably watched many hours of reruns as part of her normal exhaustive preparation for her appearance last Saturday night. Most likely "moles" from an Obama-Biden sleeper cell switched the tapes that Sarah's aides had carefully researched and provided...giving her, instead, the ones that starred Billy Crystal playing his role as Fernando Lamas. So with all that emphasis on "looking good" and "looking maahr-ve-lous" and that intelligence or performance didn't matter...is it surprising that our Sarah would dump her normal camouflage outfits and succumb to a rock-star Obama philosophy of "It's how you look!" It was "a set-up", pure and simple.
So, count me in as a foot soldier in Sarah's army!
And, NOW, everyone is making a big deal out of our Sarah's answer in the her latest TV interview...you know, the one where they let that 3rd grader ask her "What's the job of a Vice President?"
(Bet the little brat was fed that line by Katie Couric...ALWAYS with the trick questions!!! Shucks, all that wasted study and preparation, memorizing the names of magazines and newspapers...it's just NOT FAIR!)
Hey, Sarah came prepared to that interview...memorized and was ready to recite the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution...without a TelePrompter! Who knew...that they would jump ahead without any warning to Article I???
Back to the shopping spree...
I'm sure that Joe the Plumber would agree with me...what's a paltry $150,000??? Heck, THAT wouldn't even buy a plumbing company!
AND...Cindy McCain's dress that she wore to John's coronation cost $300,000! Sarah demonstrated her conservative stripes in getting SEVERAL outfits...for "half price"!!!
So, the liberal "drive-by media" has done done it...they've driven this old government teacher over the edge! I hereby reject "Barack the Wealth Spender" and his promise of change. I now heartily embrace "four more years" of misguided war and economic ruin! We may not have jobs or health care, but as long as we can pay our cable bill...our new government (at least the younger, better half) will be "easy on the eyes."
Hey...did Sarah just...??? Let me hit my replay button... By golly, yes!!! Sarah...she winked at ME that time!!! Ahhhh...it don't get any better than this!
What?
You're foolin'...
The story was on FOX News...NOT the liberal lap-dog drive-by media!
Oh...that's very different!
Never mind...
From the FOXNEWS.com Web site...
Report: RNC Spent More Than $150,000 to Spruce Up Palin
The Republican National Committee reportedly went on a spending spree in September to sharpen Sarah Palin's appearance
FOXNews.com
Plenty has been said about Sarah Palin's appearance, from her designer glasses to her striking similarity to actress Tina Fey.
But lately her stylish look has come at a price -- more than $150,000 of which was paid for by the Republican National Committee -- according to a report Tuesday by Politico.
The Web site cited financial disclosure records that suggest the wardrobe makeover began in September and included bills from Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and New York totaling nearly $50,000.
The documents also show a $75,000 shopping trip at Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis in September, as well as about $4,700 spent on hair and makeup, Politico reported. Documents don't show similar costs in August.
John McCain announced Palin as his running mate on Aug. 29, just before the Republican National Convention, held Sept. 1 to 4 in St. Paul, Minn.
Politico said a McCain spokeswoman declined to answer specific questions about the expenditures, saying "the campaign does not comment on strategic decisions regarding how financial resources available to the campaign are spent."
But a top McCain campaign staff member later told FOX News, "With all of the important issues facing the country right now, its remarkable that we're spending time talking about pantsuits and blouses. It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign."
A review by Politico of expenditures by Barack Obama's campaign and the Democratic National Committee revealed "no similar spending."
