CAT Tracks for February 23, 2009 FOP MEETING

You know you are bored with retirement when...

You attend the regularly scheduled CSD #1 Financial Oversight Panel (FOP) meeting on a beautiful, sunny February day!

One thing you can say about the FOP meetings...they are short and sweet. The members actually seemed pleased to see "an old CAT"...went out of their way to ask if I had questions or comments.

Got a packet of financial materials which I will review...and post, if they seem newsworthy.

Oh, one other thing you can say about FOP meetings...

They wait until AFTER adjournment to eat. They even invite you to join them!

Ahhhh, manners...

Oh, and there is one other thing you can say about THIS FOP meeting...

Cairo School District Number One Superintendent Leotis D. Swopes was NOT in attendance.

Not in the District on Friday...

Not in the District on Monday...

Whassup with that?
