Another Fire Ruled Suspicious

CAIRO, Ill. - A disturbing trend in Cairo continues as investigators deem another house fire suspicious.

It's the third one this month, and one of at least six suspicious fires in Cairo this year.

The latest house is located on the 2100 block of Pine Street just across the road from another house that burned this month.

We're told someone started the fire inside the home between 5:30 and 6:00 Monday evening.

The fire did not spread to the exterior.

But like so many of the other fires, this home was a vacant home so no one was hurt. And like all the rest, authorities have no suspects.
