CAT Tracks for April 16, 2009 CSD #1 TEACHERS HONORED

One of the items that has been added to the agenda for the regular monthly meetings of the Cairo Board of Education for the past year is "Examples of Excellence".

Either building principals have addressed the BOE - informing the members of special achievements by indidiviual students or the student body as a whole, or students have appeared before the BOE and made presentations demonstrating their academic achievements.

Tonight was different...

Tonight's "Examples of Excellence" were recognitions bestowed upon two of the faculty members who teach at Cairo Jr/Sr High School...two faculty members who regularly extend themselves beyond the daily schedule to involve themselves with students in extra-curricular activities.
