May the wisdom of the Greenman follow you through the forest of life.


 I have been interested in the legend of the Greenman since I was about 7 years old. I always loved listening to stories about how he was part man, part beast, and part tree. Now that I am an adult who has found her spiritual path among the pagans of the world he has come to mean so much more to me.

I consider my patron God to be Cernnunos, and I believe that the Greenman is a valid reprensentation of Cernnunos. I also consider him a triple God. Most triple Goddesses take the form of maiden, mother, crone. We don't have the same names for the times of a man's life, but having a God that is man, beast, and tree really appeals to my spiritual side. He has always been there for me.
