Ben
The black truck driver from Evans City. Ben was just eating in Beakman's diner (soup and a baked potato) when the zombie plague really hit the east coast hard. After seeing zombies infiltrate the diner, Ben jumped into a truck to listen to a radio. Unfortunately for Ben, he hasn't driven a stick shift in a long time and he has had trouble handling the vehicle.

Barbara
The young, blonde chick who goes nuts. Barbara was a kindergarten teacher and a shy girl. She was so shy that she hasn't had a boyfriend in years and her only romantic adventure has been kissing a boy when she was in the second grade.

Harry Cooper
Business man who thinks the basement is the safest place to hide. Harry was a rich iron tycoon on his way to Pittsburgh. While trying to find a hotel before dark, his car was over turned by ghouls and in the ensuing act his daughter, Karen, was bitten by one. Harry, Helen, and Karen ran to the farm house to seek shelter from the zombies.

Tom
Young punk who thinks he's a country boy hippy.

Judy
Tom's girlfriend who is into the "love culture" of the 1960s.

Helen Cooper
Harry's wife who is on the brink of divorce.

Karen Cooper
The Cooper's little girl who was bitten by a zombie. Guess what that means? Karen later dies and returns as a zombie. She then queitly munches away on her parents with the aid of a garden trowel. Yummy!

Johnny
Barbara's nerdy brother. All he does is bitch and moan about little things. Johnny's main concerns in life is scorning with chicks during the weekends and keeping his candy fix filled. He loves those small jawbreakers.
