| My favorite sports competitions are track and tennis. I used to run track when I was younger. I think when I was running, I really ran to escape the negativity around me. Running is a sport that I use to clear my head. My favorite athlete in this arena is Jackie-Joyner Kersee. She has soared to the top of this field. I also like to watch tennis. It's so thrilling to see the players compete for the top prizes! My favorite players are the Williams sisters, Venus and Serena. I also like team sports like soccer. |
| The Story Currently, I am a senior Education/ Speech comunications major at Long Island University. I am learning so much about the world, the people, and approaches to understanding it from methods philosophers have noted. Also, I hope one day to conduct research of my own, I want to examine the art history of african culture presently. Many people say African history is non-existant, but that is not true. It is just buried. Someone has to dig it up. I want to win a Fulbright scholorship one day soon to examine the depth of this issue. I also had in mind to study other topics of interest involving advocating for children's interest in government. |
| Travel I like glass beads and different sorts of jewelry. Once on a trip to Sweden, I discovered that in certain parts of the country, there are professional glass blowing houses. They are set up in the middle of the forest in the southern regions. |
