Professor Garay


Dr. Kathy Garay teaches for the Department of History and for the Women's Studies Programme at McMaster University. During 1997-98 she was Acting Director of the Women's Studies Programme. Her research interests focus on two main areas: the Middle Ages and technology. In working on the Middle Ages she has published in the ares of crime and, more recently, female spirituality. In the technology area she has produced a CD-ROM on women in the Middle Ages and Renaissance called _Sybils!_ . Her latest project, with two colleagues from McMaster, is a six part television series on female spirituality in the Middle Ages, due to air in North America and Europe this fall. 1
