One of the assignments in Women's Role in Western Society, Europe and Beyond is a class project. Our class is fairly large (over 40 people), so instead of just one project we have five. Each project has been done by a group of class members. Some of the groups are quite small, some are larger. All are made up of diverse individuals, who, for whatever reason, are interested in the history of women. The history that is being slowly written back in to traditional history. This web site, though it is made up of required assignments, is also our attempt to write some women and their lives back into History. Each of the sections on this web site also has a real life counterpart. We, as a group, have high hopes for both the real life projects and this online project. We hope that they will be useful resources and they will continue to grow as each new group of students taking Women's Role in Western Society, Europe and Beyond will expand on these resources and add their own diversities to this project.
