I use
equipment, primarily the
Nikon
F3
and the CoolPix
900
With the F3s,
I use manual focus lenses almost exclusively (exception - the 180 f/2.8
ED-IF/AF Nikkor). My lenses are mostly prime lenses (i.e. not zooms) with
the exception of the 35~105 f/3.4 ~ 4.5 Zoom Nikkor (primarily a snapshot
and travel lens), the 50~135 f/3.5 Zoom Nikkor (a wonderful lens for portraiture)
and the 70~210 f/4 series E Nikkor (a surprisingly sharp lens).
See David
Reuther's website
for excellent reviews of Nikon manual focus lenses.
I have photographed one wedding and done a bit of portraiture, but I'm primarily interested in wildlife, scenic, nature, and travel photography. Over time I will add some of my original photography (a varied sampling) to this website for your perusal and comment.
For a discussion of the Nikon Coolpix 900(s) Digital camera, the Nikon wide supplementary wide angle lens WC-E24, and my experiences in general with this camera, including some sample pictures, see my digital photography page.
If you're in
the market for used / discontinued Nikon manual focus cameras and lenses,
I can especially recommend KEH
camera brokers.
I have some
quality used but well cared for Nikon manual focus equipment for
sale.
