Welcome To The Next Chapter of Leigh & Dennis's Travels!
Allow me bring you up to speed........
We currently live in the town of San Vito, near the Eastern Adriatic coast, at the bottom of the “boot” of Italy. Dennis does his computer work on San Vito Air Base, a tiny installation of about 400 people.
Our home is over 200 years old, in a block of row houses on a cobblestone street in the center of San Vito. It’s a 2-story, but has a 3-level marble staircase that’s pretty impressive. It has HIGH domed ceilings and VERY cold marble floors!
The food (no surprise!) is fabulous. And yes, everybody eats Pizza! The local wine has a MUCH higher alcohol content than those wines imported to the US. It’s a BIG surprise to any newcomer thinking that a couple of little glasses won’t affect them!
We've been here 15 months, and are enjoying everything about our new home. That's Naples in the background of the picture above.
