The Philatelic Service issued an official FDC with an ornamented postmark for each new design.
The definitive issue was offered on a cover bearing a 2.35NIS label (Inland Registered).
The nine labels of Tourist Sites Series A - were offered on three separate covers (with the same cachet), each bearing a set of 3 different 0.30NIS labels.
For all other issues, a single FDC with an inland rate label was offered.
FDC bearing additional rates, and even FDC with sets (x3, x6) of labels, as well as FDC bearing labels produced from on-site machines (i.e. with cliche number), were prepared by dealers & collectors.

Definitive Issue FDC

Official FDC issued on 9.7.90 - FD of service of Klussendorf machines.  The envelope is franked with a 2.35NIS label (1st paper type), which was the Inland Registered rate at time of issue. Notice the registration number is printed on the envelope - and is not an adhesive sticker.
