Dearest Friends and Family,

Things in Maua are going "well" and I just had to write to tell you about our water/well project.

This week the pump was installed, the pipe was laid and connected to our current water tank. YES! WE HAVE WATER IN MAUA!!!!!! On Thurs. men started digging the foundation for our new water tank (110,000 liter). The Houston engineers projected that with both tanks we will have enough water for a full 24 hours. Yes, we are "happy dancing" in Maua. Bill and I were worried but we should always know that God's timing is perfect!

We do not know how to thank those individuals and churches that have worked so hard and quickly to provide the needed funds for this crucial project. Without them, we would not have water as we have no money to pay for water, no matter how critical our need.

Thank you:
Plymouth Park UMC, Irving, TX
First UMC, Dumas, TX
Fulshear UMC, Fulshear, TX
South Roanoke UMC, Roanoke, VA
First UMC, Poteau, OK
Chapelwood UMC, Houston, TX
St. Paul UMC, Albuquerque, NM
St. Luke's UMC, Midland, TX
Pasadena District, CA

Thank you to everyone who gave so generously to make water a reality at Maua Methodist Hospital. The staff, patients, students, and community send their deep felt gratitude. Your loving action has brought us new hope and "clean water". We are praising God for your love in action. Thank you!

"I was thirsty and you gave me water."

Asanta sana and Mungu akubariki,

Jerri and Bill
