Since 1979, I began a 3-year career in retail sales/management. Then embarked on a 14-year career in banking, which culminated in a 5-year tenure in bank management. After marriage in November 1996, I decided to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in English (with a minor in Computer Science) full time. Am currently in last semester at Lewis University and will obtain BA degree in December 1999.

After graduation, I served 4 years in US Air Force, went to college, then went onto a career in administration. I have two terrific children, married a wonderful man who let me retire, stay home and raise our children. Have also been involved with various civic and non-profit organizations.

Gladys Bravo Burnett

 

 

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a multi-million medical device manufacturing facility, as well as responsible for the sales and marketing development of products domestically and internationally. Have traveled throughout Europe and South America expanding distribution channels. Currently working with Japanese and Chinese authorities and Department of Commerce to expand trade. Also work closely with the FDA and the International Standard Organization.

Paul and I got married after we graduated from University of Florida. He was in the Marine Corps for 7 1/2 years, so we lived in several different places: Kingsville, TX., Lemoore, CA., Laguna Hills, CA., and finally back to St. Pete in 1990. We have a 5 1/2 year old daughter - Evan Brooke.

I married by high school sweetheart Michael McBride. We have three boys. Louis is six years old, Christopher is eight years old, and Kevin is fourteen years old. I'm a cafeteria aid at North Shore Elementary School. I also volunteer at North Shore

Elementary and at Shore Acres Elementary.

Rebecca Champion McBride

 

Went to law school, married Cathleen the weekend after graduation, moved to Jacksonville, and am raising 7 and 4 1/2 year old girls. Life is great.

Spent 6 years in college - marketing degree. Went to work with United Airlines 1986, moved to Colorado 19S6, married 1991. Two children - Connor is 6 and Blake is 4.

After completing college, I worked in the field of Pharmaceutical/Healthcare marketing, moving from Atlanta to Philadelphia, back to Atlanta and finally to Munich, Germany, where I met my husband and currently living. We have one son (Christopher) and expecting another son in October. Although I miss the warm Florida weather, I love the travel opportunities in Europe and have enjoyed learning a new language and culture.

After graduation (from college), I sang 2 years with the Santa Fe Opera, then 4 years with the Chicago lyric Opera, then 6 months with the Reno Opera, then I toured for 7 1/2 years with the Broadway Musical Phantom of the Opera. Now I do voice-overs for radios and T.V. in Colorado.

After I attended 3 different colleges, I started working on my marketing degree before leaving school for a professional sales opportunity in the San Francisco Bay area. I have been employed for 17 years with my current employer, working in various sales and marketing roles. My job has involved travel for the last 11 years. Between 4 children (that I share with their mom) and work, I have little time for pursuing the many hobbies and interests I once had. I thrive on the time we spend with our children!

Tim Lusignan

 

 

Joined the service when I was a junior (reserve duty to guarantee computer training) and started my military service three months after graduation. Trained in the US Navy as a Data Systems Technician and served on US Submarines. Shore duty, taught submarine tactical computer systems for about 3 years. Married my high school sweetheart, Rebecca Champion 1 1/2 years later (while in the service). Have three sons. The first, Kevin born in 1984 while in the service. After leaving the service, went to work for a government contractor installing, maintaining, and teaching submarine combat control systems. Our second son, Christopher, was born in 1990. Jumped ship from the military business to the commercial business in 1991 with LaserGate in Clearwater, Fl. Worked for a couple of years as their Technical Director. Louis, our third son, was born in 1992, Joined Best Software in late 1993, and have been there ever since. Have volunteered time to Pinellas County Schools, local needy charities, and city events. Married now for over 18 years, raising three wonderful children.

Had a rock band (Marcel Nouveau), worked as printshop supervisor at Goodwill Industries, owned a nite club (The Swamp Club in Gulfport), got married, one child (daughter Alexandrea), attended Fire College, work with Dunedin Fire Department, divorced, play golf, travel, and enjoy life.

Undergraduate Graduate Studies, Refugees teaching KSL, Teen Mothers (Gang issues) Young Women 12-25 yrs. of age. I've been teaching for 9 years. Attending Rolling Hills Community Church, lived in France for 3 months with Greater European Missions. Adopted a child from Seoul, Korea in 1988. My husband, an ER doctor, comes home and shares wild stories about psychiatric patients that think they are an FBI Agent or Bill Clinton!

Became a CPA - worked at a national firm until starting own practice. Also own Stress Relief Clinic - a Message Therapy Clinic in St. Pete. Did some traveling. Eventually got married, have one daughter and a son on the way.

During these last 20 years, my life has been fulfilled being a mother to 2 beautiful children, a wife to a terrific man, and working on a career in banking with 2 great companies (11 years with Barnett and now with SouthTrust Bank - 1 1/2 years).
