As we are invited, we go into the local churches to solicit their support, teaching church members and all other interested members of the Christian community what Evangelism is and how they can be a part in their local community. With their support we purchase Bibles and associated literature or provide for an immediate necessity, which is subsequently given to those in need without any cost or obligation to them.
IHSW works with other ministries to feed the elderly at no cost to them and assist in providing transportation to and from these events. In addition we go into the local community where people do not have a church or a pastor and conduct a gospel sing and/or perform skits with Christian emphasis. We offer an outreach that even small churches can be a part of, whereas normally they cannot because of lack of people or their location.
IHSW is involved in conducting crusades overseas. All our people are involved fighting against the occult, lack of food, (both Spirit and body), and ignorance, resulting in and building up the Christian Body in good health. Anyone can Build a Building, but can you build a soul?????
IHSW is also responsible for the In His Service Ministries Fellowship of Ministers. This was founded to provide a way for Evangelist, Pastors, Teachers, Prophets and Apostles to come together for ministry time with each other.
We also witness at local truckstops with the permission of the owners and managers. Again, any material used is given without cost to individuals. We do this without regard to race, creed or color. Before we leave any area we notify the local pastor of any person who has asked about a place to start going to church. IHSW also works with the local population to improve the image of that area by helping to get rid of prostitution, drug traffic, gambling or any other source of problems that arise.
IHSW ministers in local federal and county prisons of this area. We conduct bible studies on a once a week basis and provide for at least one formal church service once a month at any given facility. IHSW also purchases food bins from the local food source and donates them to needy families.
Members of IHSW also attend association meetings for training and Christian fellowship. We are members of Evangel Fellowship International out of Spartenburg, South Carolina.
