That's me on the hood with my brother on my graduation day 1987 .
Typical Ventura setting except
for the Land Rover...well maybe not.
My current Rover was housed less than three blocks from where
we were standing.

Like I said, it was graduation day and I was proud of my very own spray can paint job. Well, spray can and some brush on black for the stripes.
Notice the overspray on the tail lights and the gas filler cap, but like a good boy I stayed away from the galvanizing...even as a young lad I knew better that
to paint that!

Again, my brother. This is the best photo of the old Rover that I have. I wish I had more and maybe some of when it was the original red paint. Like the long hair, the old Rover is gone.
