The Three Souls, Part Two

Who are the Three Souls?

The Talking Self

I will introduce the Talking Self first, since it is the one most of us are most aware of most of the time. The Talking Self is the Rational Self, the Conscious Self. The Talking Self is our interface with the world. This is who most people think we are. But the Talking Self cannot communicate directly with our God Self.

The God Self

The God Self is not within our dense physical body, but is located in our etheric body, which surrounds us with energy. The God Self is above us, above our head, but very close. It can be visualized as a feathered winged spirit or a ball of blue fire. The God Self is also called The God Within, for although it is not within our physical body, it is within our energy body.

Our God Self is one with the Blue God of Faery, Dian na Glas, who is actually a blue-green color, also known as The Peacock God. This god is androgynous with both male and female sexual characteristics.

The Younger Self, the Animal Self, the Fetch

The Fetch is our Unconscious Self. This does not mean that it is unaware or not conscious, but that its consciousness functions at a level that our Conscious Self is not aware of. This is the part of us who makes dreams, who creatives, who is instinctive.

The Fetch stores energy and moves energy and links the Talking Self to the God Self.

We use the Ha Prayer and other exercises to keep this link pure and clear. By keeping the Three Souls aligned and clear, we are more healthy, whole and integrated. We can utilize daily more of the immense energy and power of Nature that surrounds us, since this alignment is the channel of energy that we use, not only in our magical and spiritual work, but also in our daily lives.
