About us: Shonagh Pickens is currently a University of Toronto student studying Criminology. She is focusing her studies on Aboriginal issues. She is currently researching Aboriginal Healing Lodges as an alternative to traditional forms of corrections. Kevin Slack is a writer and formerly a high school teacher with the Toronto Board of Education. He is studying Ojibway culture for his current writing project, Lost Lake Lodge.
