For the Second Slovak Philosophical Congress

ONE WORLD - MANY PHILOSOPHIES

(How the Conversation of Mankind in the Pluralistic World is Possible?)

On the inquiry as to whether the pluralism of philosophical thinking around the world can find common ground in a commensurate world-view

SEPTEMBER 7 - 9, 2000 Bratislava, Slovakia

Philosophers are invited to submit abstracts of papers of approximately 150 words on the main theme of the congress or/and on any of the following topics:

1. Culture and Social Order

2. Objectivity and Cultural Divergence

3. Hermeneutics, Analysis, and Pragmatism

4. Philosophy in Central Europe

5. Current Challenges in Science, Religion, and Ethics
