                    Our summer mission trip was a success. There were a total of 35 on the mission team.  We experienced 

                    God work as 5 youth and children accepted Christ. We went  to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge 

                    to work with Bill & Cindy Black, Resort missionaries to this area.  They oversee the Smoky Mountain 

                    Resort Ministries which is sponsored by the Southern Baptist Convention, the Tennessee Baptist             

                    Convention, and Sevier County Association of Baptists.  To view photos from the trip click here.

 

                    Purpose Driven Youth Conference at Saddleback Church, October 13-16.  Scott Chandler and Anthony 

                    Pratt will be traveling to Lake Forest, CA for a few days of training for Youth Leadership.  Be praying 

                    for them as they travel and learn.

 

                    Ray Roberts Mission Offering for State Missions and Week of Prayer for State Missions coming up     

                    in September.

                    

                    Churchwide Picnic on September 3rd.  Lots of games, food, singing and fellowship.  Bring a covered dish, 

                    lawn chair, and a hearty appetite.

 

                    Men's golf outing at Big Beaver on September 23.  See Mike Moorman for sign up and details.

 

                    Annual Budget Banquet will be August 30th.  Come and prepare to discuss and vote on the next years 

                    budget, plus have a great meal and fellowship.
