There is an Imam Bargah near Paya Lebar MRT Station (close to City Plaza) at 43,Lim Ah Woo Road, Singapore 438125 in which the moharram Majalis are organised in Urdu/Hindi language at 8:30 p.m. daily. On the Ashura day the programme starts at 11:00 a.m. in the morning. Apart from Moharram also various programmes are organised throughout the year.
On 27-A, Gulimard Road (near the Paya Lebar MRT) the Muslim Youth Assembly
has organised the
majalis of moharram for the Malay shias, the majalis are conducted
in Bhasa Malaysia. The ashura is
observed together at the Imam Bargah.
This year the Ashura will be observed on the 26th of April,1999 in Singapore .
