It is very difficult to write a process analysis essay. It can take days to come up with a topic that appeals to you. The purpose of this essay is to explain, to all my confused peers, how to write a process analysis essay.
The first step is to pick your topic. I have already stated that this a most difficult task but it is instumental in writing your essay. You should pick a topic that you are very passionate about. This will make your essay easier to write.
The second step is to realize that you will not be the only person to read your essay. Organize the process in a coherant manner. Make sure that your step-by-step instructions are just that, broken down step-by-step. You have to organize your thoughts in such a way that the readers will be able to follow your direction. Stress the importance of all needed materials. Also, stress the importance of not deviating from the instructions you give. By doing this, you will discourage the reader from 'improvising' when they try to follow your process.
The third, and final, step for writing a process analysis essay is to read over what you wrote out loud. It would be a good idea to try and follow your own directions. This way you can easily find any missing steps, materials you left out or maybe a way to make your process simpler. By following all these steps, you should be successful in writing your process analysis essay.
