Curtis was born in Palestine, Texas. We hear that native Texans still living in Texas are rare, but the members of our group are proving this wrong. He came to Irving in 1958.

Curtis met his wife Peggy at a PWP dance. They are parents to Robert, Mike, David, Rosey, Angie, Tim and Christi, and grandparents to 11. Curtis' career was in sales. He retired in 1989 but is still a very busy person. He fondly remembers the one year he lived in Trinity WI and the eight years he traveled the Western United States.

He came to our computer group when, he says, "I had a computer with very little use." Today he is one of our instructors and our primary photographer.
