Del was born in Greencastle, Indiana and Anita in Paxton, Illinois.  They met at Bloomington, Illinois high school.  They have four children – Cheryl Ayala, Tami Lane, Keith Gorham and Kevin Gorham.  They have seven grandchildren.  They moved to Irving in 1986.

 

Del worked 20 years in the Federal Prison Service and 11 years at Texas Instruments.  He was stationed in Japan with the Air Force.

 

Anita’s first job was at the State Farm home office in Bloomington, Illinois.  In Irving, she worked at Gilbert Medical Clinic and the Farmers Insurance Claim Office, retiring in 1999.

 

They have enjoyed doing a lot of camping with their children.  They came to our group after they acquired a computer for their grandkids and then realized “we needed to learn to use it too”.
