First, the modern people whose images appear here are members of the "current day" group who present "historical impressions" of Company A of the 107th Ohio. The "re-enactors" form a part of the Host Unit for the Annual reenactment of the Battle of Olustee or Ocean Pond, Florida each February on the weekend nearest the anniversary of the battle.
Second, the group also presents "impressions" of the 157th Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry who occupied Fort Clinch, located on Amelia Island, Florida, for a period during the war.
Regularly, the group participates in "Living History" presentations at the fort which is a component of the Florida State Parks System. They participate in the Ft. Clinch Garrison each May, and during the "first full-weekend" of every month, year-round.
Lastly, the group also presents "impressions" of the 8th Florida Infantry, CSA, when called upon at the various reenacting events they attend. They also will portray other units when called upon. They have been called to become the 7th Regiment New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry at the Battle of Olustee.

Note: The "current day" 107th Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Company A, has formally announced plans to attempt to place a monument to HONOR the Original 107th Ohio at East Cemetary Hill at Gettysburg, PA. in the year 2003 to coincide with the 140th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg.
