The American Experience

Start your trip in New York City, flying over Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. You travel down the east coast to Philadelphia and Washington D.C., viewing the monuments of the capital from above.

Turn west through the Cumberland Gap and sail across the midwest to St. Louis, the gateway to the west. From St. Louis you follow the Oregon Trail across the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains. The freedom of the airship allows it to veer off course and take in the Grand Canyon and the Great Salt Lake. Your voyage ends near gold strikes outside of San Francisco after you fly over Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge.

3000 miles - 2 days

Voyage of Discovery

From San Francisco, you travel up the coast of California and Oregon seeing the Redwood Forest and Crater Lake.

Your experience truly begins at Astoria at the mouth of the mighty Columbia River. From here you travel to the east along the route of the return expedition of Lewis and Clark. Cross the Rocky Mountains and overfly Yellowstone National Park. Then down the Yellowstone River to the Missouri River, fly over some the last great wilderness remaining in the continental United States. Cross the northern Great Plains, with a detour to the Little Bighorn, site of Custer's Last Stand.

Lewis and Clark's expedition ended in St. Louis, but from there you head back north to Chicago and across the Great Lakes to Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, Lake Champlain and then down the Hudson River to New York City.

3850 miles - 3 days

March to the Sea

Your guided tour of Sherman's March starts in St. Louis. You travel along the route of the march to Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta and Savannah. Then travel north to Appomatox, Richmond, the Penninsula and end in the union capital, Washington, D.C. In addition to an unequaled chance to view the landscape, your tour is narrated by a civil war historian.

1200 miles - 2 days (airship spends night over Savannah)
