  • Early Feb 2001 - Phil returns to shift-working weather forecasting in Bracknell. Mostly producing upper-atmosphere forecast charts for intercontinental aviation.
  • Mid Feb 2001 - First 'Reconnaissance' trip to Exeter.(Moving there next year!)
  • May 9-11 - Promotion Assessment Centre for Phil. Fortunately passed! New job 'International IT Programme Manager' for Business Division to start Oct 8th.
  • May-Jun - Phil leading Y Course. Discussion group for men meeting weekly in a local pub!
  • May 22 - Jun 5 - Family Holiday on the Cote-d'Azur, France. Flew to Nice and had a brilliant fortnight in the sun, near Frejus.
  • Sun Jul 15 - Phil again helps organise Winnersh village's annual event, rebranded as 'Party in the Pastures'. Fortunately the weather was much better this year and 4000 people came - half the whole village!
  • Sat Jul 28 - Fri Aug 3 - Family camping holiday at New Wine Christian Conference, Somerset, with various friends & relatives!
  • Wed Aug 22 - Sat Aug 25 - P&R to Dublin for a few days: Custom House Quay, Georgian Houses, & Pubs! (A&A to grandparents!)
  • Mon 10th Sep - Rebecca starts work for Le Club Francais (one afternoon a week), teaching  children French.
  • Sep 22nd - Dec 12th - Phil & Rebecca help run an Alpha Course (Introduction to Christianity pioneered by Holy Trinity Church, London), while Sir David Frost's ITV series 'Alpha - Will it change their lives?' is screened.
  • Mon Oct 8 - Phil's new job starts!  'International IT Programme Manager' for Business Division.
  • Oct 9-12 - Phil in Copenhagen, setting up trial weather system. (Famous Tivoli Gardens.)
  • Nov 4-10 - Phil in Bermuda, installing weather system. (Beaches, Pools, Yachting & Swimming in Caves!)
