lots of entertainment in "The Street"!

Birthday. With some friends, went
to watch a rugby match. (Exeter Chiefs
beat Bedford 21-10!) Afterwards ate lots of pizza!!
- Mar 22-27 - Phil to the US for a military conference
near Washington DC. Found time to drive down to the North Carolina 'Outer Banks' and to see the
site of the Wright brothers first air
flight.
- Apr 2 - Aidan's last day at
Whimple School.
- Easter - to China Fleet Club, just outside Plymouth.
Went with 4 other families. Fun time
in huge indoor pool with massive slide! Also played golf, tennis,
badminton, and table tennis.

matches and only lost 2!
- Apr 16-18 - Cub Camp in Ashclyst Forest, near Whimple
- Apr 19-24 Phil to Prague for a NATO workshop. (Bec was

Particularly impressive were the old town
square and the lively Charles Bridge.
- Apr 19 Bec started a new
job, as administrator at Pinhoe
Primary School, Exeter.
- Apr 21 - Aidan started at a new school! Manor House (near Honiton). His smart new uniform! See www.manorhouseschoolhoniton.co.uk

- Half Term - in Dorset
staying with Dominy family, and also saw cousins
Amber & Georgia (in a tent!), Great Grandpa Jack (now 94!!) and
Montacute House (in the rain)! [Stasia lost her first tooth!] Then to
Cornwall and stayed again at China Fleet
Club. Visited 3 beautiful places: Lanhydrocks
House, Polperro Harbour, and Saltram House. Best bit was being driven in a vintage car down to
Lanhydrocks!!
- Jun 12-13 - Phil & Bec
escaped for a weekend in Exmoor! (A&A with grandparents!) Saturday: Ancient Tarr Steps and quaint village of Winsford (but then
frightening experience in the car - nearly
falling off a cliff near Dunkery Beacon. You'll have to ask us for the
whole story...!). Sunday: in the Quantock
Hills up to the Severn Estuary at E
Quantoxhead.
