However, I would have lost the opportunity to tell the tale behind each photograph. Quality bird photography requires an intense amount of patience and an infinite amount of luck. Many hours spent in a cramped blind would result in a few brief minutes of opportunity. The ouput of those many hours of waiting and a few score frames exposed during that brief window of opportunity is the final one or two frames that are worthy of scanning and presenting on this website. Of course the adrenalin rush from seeing a Golden Eagle alight on a snag that one has been staking, or of a Yellow Billed Magpie chirping only a few feet away, oblivious of the photographer sitting in the blind... that tale had to be told.
I have therefore organized this as two "tour routes" - the first is the systematic, the rational, the second is the event driven, with extensive narrative on the background behind each photograph. I hope you enjoy your visit, and leave me your comments.
