Library Services
Our Mission...
To operate a free public library, provide
materials which contribute to the informational and recreational needs of the
community, and collect and preserve archival materials related to the history of
Commerce and the surrounding areas.
Library cards are available free of charge to citizens of
all ages with proof of residence.
Children's cards require parental
signature.

Borrowing Privileges
Patrons may check out up to six books or audio books and one video per
visit. Videos may only be checked out by an adult.
The check out period is two weeks for books and four days for
videos. Items may be renewed once by phone or e-mail.
Overdue Fines
Books.............10 cents per day per book
Videos............ 25 cents per day per video
Internet Access
To access the Internet, patrons must read and agree to the Internet
policy. Parents must give permission for their children to use the
Internet. Internet users must sign in at the front desk and are
limited to 1 hour of access if others are waiting.
