Welcome to Andy's Presidential Scholars Page! It was set up by me (Andy Farke), a 1999 Presidential Scholar from South Dakota. This is one of several Presidential Scholars pages in existance. I've not tried to capture the whole experience, but just selected parts. Consequently, it may be fully comprehensible only to Presidential Scholars, and possibly only a few of them at that. Oh well. . .

I, and my fellow scholars, had a lot of fun during the 1999 National Recognition Week in Washington, D.C. (June 23-27)  During this time, we toured, attended performances and exhibitions, "hung out" and met President Clinton. Needless to say, it was very busy and very enjoyable.
