Razor Sharp is undergoing some major changes and updating. The editor has finally got his own computer and as soon as all of his software is set up the following changes will be in the works: the site will be reworked with flash animation to become much more dynamic and fast to download, the site location will probably change but it our intent to remain at this spot on the 60's Mod Webring, the site will begin commercial offerings such as music sales and other scene related items in keeping with the high standards of Razor Sharp, soon extensive modernist information will be accesible on the site via interactive pages which will allow the user to get only the information they need, all of the previously promised pages will be posted, and more. A lot has been in the works so try back soon to see what changes have been made. For new users Razor Sharp is a lifestyle zine for cool subculture: Mods, Skinheads and Rudies. It is authored out of California and as such is liable to reflect the American slant on the subculture but it is not exclusive and we would like to include any input from any scenesters especially in the Events Calendar.
We are trying to make progressive improvements and will continue to do so. In this spirit we have added a form to simplify the posting of events, the pages are kept simple to speed downloading and access and zine sections can be accessed by clicking on the corresponding graphics at the top of each Issue page.
Razor Sharp is text heavy. We apologize for this but it is in response to shallow information typically available on the internet. We hope to be able to provide detailed and authoritative commentary on the scene and text is the best way to do this. You may want to just download and print the page. As our resources increase we hope to be able to include more photography but it will be in order to continue our attempt to provide information not satisfy our vanity.
We have added a form to gather information for our events page. The calendar will soon reflect the info you provide. Also coming soon is the Fashion Special Issue. In the future we will try to expand the services we provide further including providing help for local scenes, promoting events, sponsoring events, providing promotion assistance for bands and other scene related organizations, even providing music and other scene appropriate products. To give us feedback or get on board at the web site you can e-mail us at: el_gatto_nero@yahoo.com or send a message by going to the submit an events page and putting your message in the details section. Enjoy what we have for now and stay tuned for what is yet to come. Meanwhile submit any events info you know about and check out what we have already.
Stay Sharp,
Scott Duncan
