QUESTION:

Assalaamu Alaykum
Please answer according to Agha Seestani.

1) In a gathering where there are women viewing the aalim on a tv screen
(e.g. during a majlis) and ONE woman has incorrect intentions, is the
entire gathering incorrect.. since, afterall, the given woman may not
have sinned had the gathering or set-up not been as such??

2) If the ENTIRE gathering is not incorrect, are the organizers
   accountable in any way??

ANSWER:

1. The purpose of the gathering as described in the question is obviously a
permissible and noble purpose. Now, if one woman has incorrect intentions by
viewing the `alim on the TV monitor --- then it is the intention of that
woman which is wrong, not the gathering itself. If the lady in question
cannot control her feelings, then she should remove herself from that situation.

2. Based on the above answer, the second question is irrelevant.
