"Remember Me?"
Remember me he asked of her...
Remember when we're away...
and that she did... and more than that
she remembered things he would not tell or say.
She remembered things he outward showed, and inward
held from the light of day.
Now he dares ask the most generous thing and prays
   she listens true.
I ask that when you remember my memory inside of you
that only good be the thoughts that reside
though the good be all too few.
For pain I've caused and pain I've learned and
pain I've come to view is nothing that should be held for long
or that pain consumes you too.
So, again I beg, remember me and think of me in only
good ways I pray, for all I remember is the good in
you and will 'til my dying day.
