After writing a poem for Chelsea, I thought When Jake arrived the lions roared A boy they whispered joyfully With little hands and little feet He pulls funny faces There's no baby more special
I'd better write one for Jake as well.
So here it is.
And the trumpeters blew their horn.
Everyone was so excited
Because a baby boy was born.
We haven't had one of those in years.
They hugged each other tightly
And erupted into tears.
And a little button nose.
He's just so cute and cuddly
From his fingers to his toes.
And laughs at us all.
He's got so much character
For someone so small.
Find one if you can.
This one's name is Jake
And he's our little man.
