Hello! My name is Miss G. and I teach Kindergarten, Grades One and Two at Gray School. I live in Regina and drive 25 minutes to Gray everyday. This is my first year of teaching and my first year at Gray School. I have really enjoyed getting to know all of the families in Gray and I love the children at our school! I feel very lucky to be teaching in such a wonderful school!
Hi! My name is Mrs. W. I am the Kindergarten aide at Gray School, where I have worked for five years. My husband and I live in a neighboring town and very much enjoy being part of a small rural community. We also appreciate the benefits of the small local school, both for our children and our grandchildren. I consider it a great privilege to be a part of this group of people who are considerate of each other and strive for excellence in all they do. I say we should do all we can to preserve schools like this one!
Mrs. Kim E. Engel -- Principal of Gray School Kim Engel has been the principal of Gray Elementary School for 11 years, and until this year, the only teacher. During her 13 years of teaching, she has taught every grade and every subject. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina, with specializations in Core French, Mathematics and Social Studies, focusing on the midde years (grades 5-9). She has studied French at the Universite de Quebec a Trois - Rivieres, Universite Laval and the Language Institute at the University of Reginal. Kim gives presentations at conferences, workshops and inservices on: multi-level teaching, unit planning, themeing and resource based learning & teaching. She has recently had two of her multi-level integrated units of study published by the SPDU/Stewart Resource Centre, "Chocolate" and "The United Kingdom" which can be found on-line through the Stewart Resource Centres site. Kim is married to Rick Engel and has one daughter Brenna, 3. She is a resident of Regina.
