Paul Hutchinson

                                …overheard.
Thrilling……

I know that you did shameful things
Like some young girls in fairytales.
You were tricked and got neither love nor real
work,
Despite a thoughtful child's strategies,
Until recently. Now, by the same stealth and
cunning
That might get you love

One who once smelled of a parent's
rage like stale tobacco-smoke,
An inward one, creates a clean and shiny outside
one to live.

The art makes you good tired at last.
You are clear and calm.
The Schoolyard Mockers met the Defiant Child.
She tricked those trolls. They ate the Supper of
Stones.
