Today Thomas Hill, Vice President of Student Affairs at Iowa State University, recommended that President Jischke meet with The September 29th Movement to discuss the issue of the naming of Catt Hall.  Dr. Hill recommended that this meeting happen as soon as possible.

President Jischke accepted the recommendation to discuss the issue.

Dr. Hill briefed the students of this development around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7th, 1998.  Therefore, there were no further arrests of students.

This meeting will be held from 10:00am-12:00noon in 117 Beardshear Hall on Wednesday, April 22, 1998.
