RE: Naming of Catt Hall
Dear President Jischke:
With regard to the naming of Catt Hall, I hereby request the following
documentation, information, and answers from you:

A copy of all documentation that the official university committee relied
upon at the time it approved the naming of Catt Hall.

Minutes from the official university committee meeting(s) at which the
naming of Catt Hall was approved.
-
A copy of all documentation that was given to the Board of Regents for
the purpose of gaining their support for the naming of Catt Hall.
Specifically, I am referring to documentation that would have been provided
by employees of Iowa State University or persons acting as affiliated representatives
in the efforts to name Catt Hall.

A copy of the minutes from the Regents meeting(s) which heard presentations
on the naming of Catt Hall.

A photocopy or index of all documentation relied upon by you in making
your decision that the naming process of Catt Hall should not be reopened.

A list of faculty, staff, outside scholars, or individuals who you relied
upon as resource persons in making your decision that the naming of Catt
Hall should not be reopened.

The exact date (or approximate date) that you made your decision to not
investigate or reopen the naming process of Catt Hall.
When these documents are available, please contact me either by e-mail
or by telephone and I will come by your office to pick up this information.
I am hoping that it will not take you long to compile this information
because you have previously stated that you are well-read on Catt and are
familiar with the naming process. Please let me know if this process
will take you longer than two weeks.
