Europe and Mary

The new European flag pictured here contains twelve gold stars in a circle on a blue background.  The flag itself is a dashing spectacle when seen fluttering over the official buildings.  The official explanation given to those who inquire as to the meaning of the symbolism in the flag is pathetically shallow, and some would say deliberately evasive (see Rosicrucian Digest No. 3, pg. 19, 20).  Let us do our own investigation.

Why the colours blue and gold?  Let us see what these colours mean from a Catholic source:

"... Blue the colour of our Lady [Mary], and gold the Papal colour."   -Pope John Paul II, His Travels & Mission, pg. 21, by Catholic author Norman St. John-Stevas.

So we see blue represents Mary, and gold represents the Papacy.  The twelve stars in a circle on the flag represent the twelve stars around the woman's head in Apocalypse 12:1 according to My Catholic Faith, pg. 62.  They claim this woman is Mary.  A careful reading of the verses following this text, however, shows that this woman is not Mary as the Catholic Church claims.  It is rather the true church of God which Rome drove into the wilderness for 1260 years.  History does not show that Mary was in the wilderness for 1260 years,  nor was she persecuted for 1260 years,  as states in verses 13 and 14.  The true Bible-believing church of God was in the wilderness from 538AD to 1798AD, a period of exactly 1260 years.  The Papacy drove her into the wilderness during that time and killed all those who opposed her false teachings.

The true church which clung to Christ's original teachings lived in the Swiss and Italians Alps.  They were mainly called Waldensians and suffered the force of Papal wrath for hundreds of years.  They were a continual embarrasment to Popery because they could track their origins back to the disciples of Christ.  They had the un-adulterated Bible and used it to expose the false traditions which Rome mixed with God's simple truth.  God alone knows how many of these brave missionaries sacrificed their lives in an endeavout to awaken Dark Age Europe to the true, simple Bible gospel.  When Roman priests caught these humble followers of Christ they were immediately executed by either fire or sword.

Rome still thought she was God's church, could do no wrong, and was answerable to no one.  God, however, says in the Apocalypse 18: 7,8:  "As much as she hath glorified herself, and lived in delicacies, so much torment and sorrow give ye her;  because she saith in her heart I sit a queen, and am no widow;  and sorrow I shall not see.  Then shall her plagues come  in one day, death and mourning, and famine,  and she shall be burnt with fire; because God strong, who shall judge her."

This new flag was first launched on December 11, 1955.  The Europeans were not told that this very date was the Catholic Church's 'Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mother Mary'.

The Pope is seen bowing down before a statue of Mary.  This Pagan practise is strictly forbidden by God in the second commandment.

"Thou shalt not make unto thyself a graven thing, nor... anything that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth.  Thou shalt not bow down to them or serve them..."     -Exodus 20:4-6, RC Bible.

John Paul II has as his personal motto,  'Totus Tuus'  (totally yours);  but applies it to Mary, not Jesus.  At his enthronement he proclaimed  "...all that I have is thine, my Queen and my mother".

On his way to hospital after being shot in 1981 he was heard calling to Mary in Polish,  "Madonna, Madonna"  (TIME 25/5/81).

One year after the assassination attempt,  John Paul II went to the Marian Shrine at Fatima, to thank Mary for saving his life.

Poland is a Mary-worshipping nation.  When Polish Pope John Paul took control at the Vatican he increased the interest in this worship.  These Poles bow down to graven images of Mary, who is dead and buried and waiting the resurrection morning, when she will arise to behold her Saviour, Jesus Christ, when He returns.

Even the Catholic Douay Bible shows that prayers to Mary and the dead saints and also pilgrimages are in vain.    (Acts 4:12, no other name but Jesus), (Luke 1:47, Mary was a sinner), (Eccl. 9:5,6, the dead know nothing, until Jesus returns),  (I Timothy 2:4,5, Jesus is our only Mediator).  These false beliefs crept in from paganism.

Satan is only using Mary as a means of diverting our attention from Christ who is the ONLY name under heaven which can save us.  Mary was blessed among women, not above women.  (Luke 1:42). Christ said those who hear the Word of God (the Bible) and keep it,  are even more blessed than Mary!  (Luke 11:27, 28).

This activity fo Mary worship, stems from the Pope and the Catholic church's worship of her as the 'Mother of God' and their desire to make her the mother of Europe and eventually the world.

"The Pope wishes to entrust the Church particularly to her in whom there was accomplished the stupendous and complete victory of good over evil, of love over hatred, of grace over sin;  to her of whom [Pope] Paul VI said that she is  'the beginning of the better world,' to the Blessed Virgin."   -Talks of John Paul II, pg. 256-257.
