The Eye under the Light
|
I drew this because I hadn't practiced for a long time. I forced myself to draw. Anything! Even the simplest drawing will do. The first image I got was Heiji Hattori‡ with his trade-mark cap.
For cool effect, only one eye can be seen.
For cooler effect, he is wearing a coat with high neckline.
For even cooler effect, he is in the dark so that his eye "glows".
And there you go! He looks more like a spy than a detective. "Why not?" I thought. I added a lamp post behind him, modified the cap into a furry cap, and I got my spy. Not the best look of a spy, but it was enough — for this time.
Note:
‡ Heiji Hattori is a character from the manga Detective Conan
by Aoyama Gosho.
