This is a new play written in verse by Matthew Freeman and directed by himself and Christopher Carter Sanderson. The story is taken from Sir Thomas Mallory's "Le Morte d'Arthur" and covers the fate of King Arthur and the Round Table after the achievement of the Holy Grail. It was reviewed in the Wednesday, October 2 New York Times arts section, page 5E. You can also see an intervie with Mr. Freeman in New York Theater.com.
For three weeks the location will be in Central Park, just North and West of the Delacorte Theater. The nearest entrances are 81st Street and Central Park West and 79th Street and 5th Avenue. The B and C trains stop at 81st St and Central Park west.
The following week's location is Fort Tryon Park in "upstate Manhattan."
Showtimes are Friday through Sunday, 8pm, from September 28 to October 14 in Central Park, Thursday through Sunday, 8pm, in Fort Tryon park.
Admission is free.
